Four ingredients, need I say more? I am attempting a three month vegan cleanse before I travel to New York and Hawaii to help me slim down a tad more and to help with toning my belly to get it bikini body but I have an extremely annoying vice. I love to snack! Over the new few weeks I am going to find some organic vegan recipes for snacks that will fill me up and no make me dry retch. Attempt number 2 is sorbet, which is a much healthier alternative to ice cream (I will always love you Ben and Jerrys).
I whipped up this sorbet in five minutes and it tastes absolutely relish!
Makes: 1 large serving
Ingredients:
3/4 cup frozen mango
1/2 cup frozen berries
1 tsp Organic coconut oil
1/3 cup coconut water
Extra berries to decorate the top
Method:
Blend it like there is no tomorrow. You may have to blend it in small sections if you want a thicker sorbet, otherwise add a little more coconut water and put the runny sorbet in the freezer for twenty minutes. Then chuck a few blue berries on top for a 'sah hisptah' feel.
And there we have it, a beautiful and scrumptious treat, without the nasties.
