SEASONS GREETINGS

An Australian Christmas usually requires all three of the following to be a success.
1. A hot day - TICK
2. Great food - BIG TICK
3. Family and friends - TICK TICK

This Christmas did not disappoint and many great times were had over delicious meals and the exchanging of gifts. I also went to church this morning, at my local church where I attend youth group and Sunday nights.

I think it's really important to not forget the meaning and purpose of Christmas which is to celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ. Sometimes it is so easy to turn it into a day full of present giving and receiving, which, although is a fun and exciting part of the day, shouldn't be the most important bit.

Anyway speaking of gifts, I was very spoilt by my family today. Here are just some of the things I received.

ALL FROM L-R: Some cash which will go into savings for NYC, Chocolate stocking - get in me! Lush soap and bath bomb which smell heavenly. Jewellery Tree which is so cute and fits nicely with my room. Sportsgirl nail file which I need now for on the go as one of my casual jobs will ensure I always have bad nails. MYER voucher. I AM MALALA book which I have been desperate to read as this girl is such an inspiration to the whole world. Rimmel Pack of Eye-liner, Mascara, Nail polish and Lipstick with a cute clutch. Headphone thing which will prevent them from knotting, as they do every day and is very frustrating to get them untangled while blasting some Fall Out Boy. Rimmel London Nail Polish and Scandal Eyes. Bert's Bees chapstick.

Napoleon Primer, Foundation and Powder which will last me six months into next year and is amazing as Napoleon is quite pricey. A box of Haigh's chocolates which could be displayed as art, they are so beautiful. Jurlique Rosewater mist which is and has always been one of my favourite products from Jurlique. South Pacific the Musical tickets which I am very excited to see. Cotton On, 'here and now' purse which was a cute stocking filler which will hold my cards and receipts. Jurlique Face moisturiser in a travel sized bottle which is perfect for going away.

Fruitalicious Tea and four matching T2 containers. Need I say more?

This lust-worthy LULU LEMON gym bag I have been admiring was a pleasant surprise from my parents. It's so big and even has a section at the back to hold my yoga mat.

A new GAIAM yoga mat as my old one has been used to it's death. Another MYER voucher.

A gorgeous necklace from SERAFINA BOUTIQUE from my beautiful best friend.

Today I went for a navy blue dress from Gillies St Markets paired with simple black sandals.

Merry Christmas all and have a safe and Happy New Year
